The room that answered first
A ceramic lining changes its mechanical response eighty-two milliseconds before the test controller issues its command. The room is empty.

On the control-room display, the answer arrives before the question.
01 / Test enclosure F05-E2
Six powered ceramic panels line an isolated load enclosure at the Foundry. Their distributed electrical and mechanical response redirects vibration within a fixed, independently checked envelope. The panels do not wait for a central processor to calculate each adjustment. Local response is part of their standing test mandate. The actuator command begins the scheduled test load; it is not a grant of authority to the material.
02 / The apparent lead
In the retained run, panel E2-A changes its response 82 milliseconds before the actuator-command timestamp. The main load arrives 14 milliseconds after that command. An operator watching only those two channels sees a material adjustment that anticipates an event by 96 milliseconds. The enclosure contains no person and receives no network instructions during the run. Local power, instrumentation, and the hydraulic plant remain connected.
03 / What was preserved
We retained the panel output, command log, plant-pressure channel, and an independent accelerometer recording. The last two were absent from the control-room display. The apparent lead was not rounded away or removed as an impossible value. No inference about prediction was added to the finding. An unusual ordering of timestamps is a reason to examine the clock and the apparatus.
04 / Immediate disposition
The scheduled endurance series was paused. The panels remained inside their mechanical limits throughout the retained interval. Field Operations isolated the actuator scheduling path from the plant preparation sequence for a separate examination. The proposed fabrication transfer to Tern remained under review. It had not been authorized by a successful chamber run.
